Tracking systems

The movement of the earth and atmospheric composition mean that the power and direction of incoming solar radiation permanently changes. Photovoltaic modules with fixed-mount cells can therefore only convert a fraction of the light energy radiated by the sun into electrical energy.

Tracking systems are fixing systems for photovoltaic modules. They always adjust the module in the direction of the sun so the incidence angle remains constant and maintains the intensity of the light’s energy. As a result, diffuse light can be effectively harvested in addition to peak light.
